Preparing the Ground: Pond Development at CTU-Barili
Subang - Cebu Technological University began preparing a pond site for a planned aquaculture initiative at CTU-Barili Campus.
On January 4, 2025, Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter conducted a pond preparation activity at Cebu Technological University - Barili Campus in collaboration with CWTS and LTS trainees.
The activity involved clearing operations and digging as part of preparations for the chapter's planned aquaculture initiative. The effort was led by Subang - CTU President Peter John C. Enorio, with support from CWTS and LTS staff Jan Emmanuel Lausa and Feil Hurvey Avenido.
Subang - CTU volunteer interns Judinel B. Batusbatusan, Pearl Shanea D. Mahinay, and Dhemae D. Libusana facilitated the activity.
The site preparation marked an early step in developing an agricultural and aquaculture initiative designed to complement the chapter's broader work in food systems and sustainability.
