Caring for Our Communities, One Cleanup at a Time

On November 13, 2024, volunteers and interns of Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter conducted a roadside cleanup in Barangay Kalubihan, Barili, Cebu.

The activity collected more than eight sacks of waste, including glass bottles, plastic bottles, sachets, and other discarded plastic materials. The cleanup provided volunteers with a direct opportunity to address visible waste in a community space while promoting responsible waste disposal.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Environmental Affairs Department under the leadership of Subang - CTU SEAD Vice-President Rodney Joseph B. Sundo.

Beyond the cleanup itself, the activity reinforced a simple principle of community environmental action: maintaining clean and safe public spaces requires shared responsibility. Through volunteer-led activities, Subang continues to encourage practical participation in environmental stewardship.
