Connecting Youth Leadership with Global Higher Education

Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter President Peter John C. Enorio participated in two virtual events organized by Times Higher Education (THE) and the ASEAN University Network (AUN), held on October 17 and November 13, 2024.

The sessions, titled "Integrating THE Impact and World University Rankings for Global Excellence, Internationalization, and Reputation" and "THE Introduction to THE World University Rankings: Enhancing Performance and Data Submission," featured speakers from Times Higher Education, including Mei Mei Lim, Director of Consultancy, and Todd Hornal, Regional Director for APAC.

The discussions explored how THE Impact Rankings and THE World University Rankings are used by higher education institutions to examine institutional performance, societal contributions, internationalization, and data-driven strategies.

For Subang - CTU Chapter, the engagements provided additional perspective on how student and youth participation can intersect with institutional development and the Sustainable Development Goals. The chapter continues to explore ways that youth-led initiatives can contribute to broader university and community development efforts.
