Nurturing What Was Planted: Adopt-A-Hectare Maintenance

On November 9, 2024, Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter continued its Adopt-A-Hectare Project through a visitation and maintenance activity at the CTU-Barili Campus.

The Adopt-A-Hectare Project is a long-term tree propagation and growing initiative that emphasizes continued care alongside the establishment of new plantings. During the activity, Subang - CTU Volunteer Interns conducted site maintenance under the supervision of the Environmental Affairs Department.

The activity provided an opportunity for volunteers to revisit the growing site, monitor previously established plantings, and reinforce the importance of consistent environmental stewardship.

Rather than treating tree planting as a one-time activity, the initiative reflects Subang's approach of sustaining environmental action through regular maintenance, volunteer participation, and long-term care.
