Paglaum Farm Continues Its Food Security Efforts

On February 5, 2025, Cebu Technological University and Subang - Cebu Technological University conducted another harvest from the Paglaum Farm Project at CTU-Barili Campus.

The harvest yielded tomatoes, okra, and chilis, which were distributed to students and local community members. The activity was led by Subang Executive President Peter John C. Enorio, Resource Generation Director Ron Janbert P. Ofquila, Administration and Finance Director Andrewkyle E. Oroc, and volunteers Ciara Mari M. Brigoli and Mary Danielle T. Descallar.

The Paglaum Farm Project provides students with practical agricultural experience while contributing fresh produce to the university and surrounding community. The continuing harvests demonstrate the project's ongoing integration of agricultural education, volunteerism, and food production.

Through sustained collaboration between CTU and Subang - CTU, the project continues to develop a practical campus-based model for sustainable agriculture and community food support.
