Paglaum Farm Harvest Supports Students and Local Communities

On February 3, 2025, Cebu Technological University and Subang - Cebu Technological University conducted another harvest from the Paglaum Farm Project at CTU-Barili Campus.

Tomatoes, okra, and chilis were harvested and distributed to students and local community members in Barili. The activity was facilitated by Subang Executive President Peter John C. Enorio, Administration and Finance Director Andrewkyle E. Oroc, and volunteers Ciara Mari M. Brigoli, Mary Danielle T. Descallar, and Iyz Phoebemae Del Socorro.

The project, led by CTU and Subang - CTU's Agriculture and Food Systems Department, continues to provide students with practical agricultural experience while producing fresh food for the university and surrounding community.

The February 3 harvest formed part of the project's continuing cycle of cultivation and distribution, demonstrating how campus agriculture can support experiential learning and local food accessibility.
