Subang - Province of Siquijor Leads NIA Dam River Cleanup
Subang - Province of Siquijor conducted a river cleanup at the NIA Dam in Tagmanocan, Lazi, as part of its World Environment Day activities.
Subang - Province of Siquijor marked World Environment Day on June 5, 2024, through a river cleanup at the NIA Dam in Tagmanocan, Lazi, Siquijor.
The activity was organized by the Subang - Province of Siquijor Environmental Affairs Department, bringing volunteers together to remove debris and address waste along the river area.
The cleanup was led by Environmental Affairs Director Jaynard Cruz and Deputy Director Jarrale Jaralve and was aligned with the 2024 World Environment Day theme, "Our Land. Our Future."
The activity demonstrated the chapter's continuing focus on environmental stewardship through direct community-based action and care for local waterways.
