Subang Leads World Environment Day River Cleanup at CTU-Barili

Subang's Environmental Affairs Department marked World Environment Day on June 5, 2024, with a river cleanup at Cebu Technological University - Barili Campus.

Led by SEAD Vice-President Rodney Joseph B. Sundo and SEAD Deputy Director Augustin P. Tapinit, the activity brought volunteers together to remove litter and debris from the campus river.

The cleanup was conducted under the 2024 World Environment Day theme, "Our Land. Our Future," and focused on direct action to address pollution in the campus environment.

The activity added another chapter to Subang's continuing environmental work at CTU-Barili, where river restoration, bamboo propagation, native tree conservation, and other environmental initiatives have formed part of the organization's campus-based efforts.
