Subang Joins CTU-Barili's 76th Anniversary Arts and Science Festival

Cebu Technological University - Barili Campus marked its 76th founding anniversary on May 30 and 31, 2024, with an Arts and Science Festival that brought together scientific inquiry, creative expression, and student participation.

The festival was organized through a collaboration among the Research and Development Office, Graduate School Office, Culture and the Arts Office, and Subang, represented by National Executive President Peter John C. Enorio.

Three major components formed the festival: the Student Research Congress, Art Gallery and Competition, and Photo Contest. The Student Research Congress featured 13 student studies presented through oral presentations and research posters.

The research presentations covered a range of topics, including technological and environmental concerns, while the art gallery and competition provided students from different colleges with a platform to showcase their creative work.

The Photo Contest invited students to document the campus anniversary celebration through photography, creating a visual record of the event and its community atmosphere.

The festival concluded with a ceremony recognizing the participants and winners. Beyond the anniversary celebration, the event provided students with opportunities to communicate research, express creativity, and engage with different areas of campus life.
