Subang - Province of Siquijor Conducts Coastal Cleanup and Community Outreach in Lazi

Subang - Province of Siquijor brought together its Environmental Affairs and Community Affairs departments for a coastal cleanup and community outreach activity in Lazi on June 23, 2024, ahead of the St. John's Day celebration.

The coastal cleanup covered the shores of Barangays Tigbawan and Catamboan and was led by the SPS Environmental Affairs Department under Director Jaynard Cruz. Volunteers worked to remove litter and debris from the shoreline as part of the chapter's environmental stewardship efforts.

Alongside the cleanup, the SPS Community Affairs Department, led by Director John Blair More J. Omandam, organized food distribution for residents near the Lazi Baywalk.

Subang Executive President Peter John C. Enorio and SPS Provincial Director Dyn Michael M. Lozana were also present during the activities, joining volunteers and chapter leaders in the community effort.

The combined environmental and community activities reflected Subang - Province of Siquijor's efforts to connect environmental responsibility with direct community engagement.
