Subang - Province of Siquijor Joins Provincial Youth Development Council

The Provincial Youth Development Council of Siquijor concluded its second-quarter meeting on June 27, 2024, at the New Capitol Building in Polangyuta, bringing together recognized youth organizations and provincial stakeholders to review accomplishments and plan activities for the succeeding quarter.

The meeting was presided over by Wilkie T. Bragas, Vice-President of the Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation of Siquijor and Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federated President of Maria. First District Board Member Dr. Brylle Deeiah Tumarong-Quio and Provincial Youth Development Officer Dex Magtahas were also present.

The council reviewed its accomplishments, conducted the election and oath-taking of new PYDC officers, and discussed proposed activities for the next quarter.

A key development during the meeting was the formal induction of Subang - Province of Siquijor as a member of the Provincial Youth Development Council. The membership established a formal avenue for Subang's provincial chapter to participate in discussions and coordination related to youth development in Siquijor.

Atty. Dale Tudtud, Chief of Staff of the Governor's Office, also attended the meeting and provided support and insights from the provincial administration.

Subang's inclusion in the PYDC marked another step in strengthening its participation in organized youth development efforts and creating opportunities for collaboration with other youth organizations and provincial stakeholders.
