Subang - Negros Oriental and Siquijor Leaders Convene for Youth Leadership and Activity Planning

Subang - Negros Oriental and local youth leaders in Siquijor convened in Lazi on April 20, 2024, for a leadership workshop and activity planning session designed to strengthen youth leadership and develop initiatives responsive to local needs.

The activity was spearheaded by Provincial Director Dyn Michael M. Lozana and brought together youth leaders, educators, and community stakeholders. Among the participants was Georgehene Tabuyok, Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson of Barangay Tignao, Lazi, Siquijor.

The workshop featured discussions and activities focused on leadership, civic engagement, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. Participants also worked through activity-planning exercises to identify possible youth-centered initiatives for Siquijor.

Proposed activities included environmental conservation projects and skills development workshops, reflecting the participants' interest in creating opportunities for young people to contribute to their communities.

The session strengthened coordination between Subang leaders and local stakeholders while providing a space for youth to contribute ideas to future activities in Siquijor.
