FSG Officers and Subang - CTU Continue Adopt-a-Hectare Site Maintenance and Tree Transplanting

The Federation of Student Governments - Cebu Technological University, Inc. and Subang - CTU Chapter conducted an Adopt-a-Hectare Project site maintenance and tree transplanting activity at Cebu Technological University - Barili Campus on January 31, 2026.

The activity was led by Subang Volunteer Miles Wilven Ayuban, with support from Peter John C. Enorio, Shaina Faith D. Visorro, Dennis B. Bendulo, and Volunteer Intern Rod Santiago Lebumfacil Jr.

Participants began with an orientation on the objectives of the Adopt-a-Hectare Project before carrying out hands-on site maintenance. Areas planted with kamagong were cleaned and maintained, while participants also transplanted pajo mango as part of the continuing development of the site.

The activity provided participants with practical experience in tree maintenance and transplanting while reinforcing the importance of continued care for established environmental projects.

The joint activity strengthened collaboration among student leaders from different CTU campuses and contributed to the continuing environmental stewardship work of the Adopt-a-Hectare Project.
