Propagating 100 Black Bamboos for a Greener Future
Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter propagated 100 black bamboo planting materials as part of its continuing Bamboo Propagation Project.
On November 29, 2024, Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter propagated 100 black bamboo (Phyllostachys nigra) planting materials at the CTU-Barili Campus as part of its continuing Bamboo Propagation Project.
The activity was led by Subang President Peter John C. Enorio, Human Resource Director Dennis B. Bendulo, and Presidential Staff Shaina Faith D. Visorro.
The propagation activity contributed to the chapter's growing collection of bamboo planting materials and supported its broader environmental work involving bamboo establishment, site maintenance, and ecological education.
The activity also reinforced Subang - CTU's emphasis on practical volunteer participation, where environmental action is carried out through repeated, hands-on work rather than one-time activities.
