Continuing the Work: Bamboo Propagation at CTU-Barili

On November 30, 2024, Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter continued its Bamboo Propagation Project at the CTU-Barili Campus.

Under the leadership of Subang - CTU Environmental Affairs Vice-President Rodney Joseph B. Sundo, volunteers and volunteer interns propagated black bamboo (Phyllostachys nigra) as part of the chapter's continuing environmental activities.

The activity contributed to the ongoing production and care of bamboo planting materials, building on earlier propagation, maintenance, and transplantation activities conducted throughout the campus.

The continued work demonstrates the cumulative nature of volunteer-led environmental initiatives. Each propagation session adds to the planting materials available for future establishment while giving volunteers practical experience in environmental stewardship.
