Building Sustainability: Bamboo Propagation and Aquaculture Preparation
Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter continued its bamboo propagation work while preparing a site for a planned aquaculture initiative.
On December 7, 2024, Subang - Cebu Technological University Chapter conducted another bamboo propagation session in collaboration with CWTS and LTS trainees of Cebu Technological University - Barili Campus.
The activity focused on the propagation of Black Bamboo (Gigantochloa atroviolacea) while also preparing a site for a planned aquaculture project. The combined activity reflected the chapter's approach to linking environmental restoration with sustainable and innovative agricultural initiatives.
Through hands-on work in propagation and site preparation, volunteers and students contributed to the continuing development of sustainability initiatives at the CTU-Barili campus.
