Subang Philippines Holds Youth Perspective in Action Conversation on Resilient, Safe, and Sustainable Communities

Subang Philippines brought together three young leaders for Youth Perspective in Action, a conversation focused on building resilient, safe, and sustainable communities through youth participation and practical knowledge.

The session explored three complementary perspectives on community resilience, covering community-based disaster risk reduction and management, lifesaving, and sustainable community design.

Subang Philippines Founder & National Executive President Peter John C. Enorio shared perspectives on empowering communities through community-based disaster risk reduction and management. A Philippine Climate and Disaster Resilience Champion in 2025, Enorio discussed the role of young people in strengthening community preparedness and resilience.

Yogi Christ P. Agan, a Philippine Life Saving responder, brought the perspective of youth involvement in lifesaving and emergency response. His participation highlighted the importance of practical skills and readiness in efforts to protect lives during emergencies.

Raf B. Jimenez, a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture student at the University of San Carlos, contributed perspectives on sustainable and resilient community design, connecting the role of young professionals and students with the way communities are planned and shaped.

The conversation was moderated by Jellian Macadildig and brought together different areas of youth expertise around a shared focus on community resilience.

Youth Perspective in Action reflects Subang Philippines' approach to youth participation: creating spaces where young people can share practical knowledge, learn from one another, and connect their fields of interest with real community needs.
