Subang Leads Black Bamboo Propagation and Riparian Project Maintenance at CTU-Barili

Subang - CTU continued its environmental work at Cebu Technological University - Barili Campus on February 15, 2025, through a combined activity involving black bamboo propagation and maintenance of the campus riparian project.

NSTP-CWTS trainees and staff participated in site activities that included assessing existing areas, carrying out maintenance work, and preparing additional black bamboo planting materials. The session provided participants with practical experience in supporting an ongoing environmental restoration effort.

The activity also included visitation and maintenance within the riparian project area, allowing volunteers and participants to monitor previously established work while identifying areas requiring continued attention.

By combining propagation with site maintenance, the activity supported both the expansion and long-term care of the campus environmental initiative.
